Deafness

I'm taking Jeffo to the Vet on Thursday, to check his ears, as far as I can see he has no infection and never has had ear infection. He is 8yrs in November, but I'm sure he is going deaf, no shaking head, no scratching his ears, no smell from either of them. Nothing has changed, he is just normal as ever. To me it just seems a bit early at 8 to be going deaf with age? have any other Bullies shown deafness at this age?......and no it is not selective hearing.
Will post the outcome of the visit.

Good News! It's basically old age, he has lost most of his base tone hearing, his higher tone is fine, hence hard of hearing. I am relieved though, I was aware of what other diagnosis that could of shown up, it just threw me with him being 7yrs, I thought it was a bit young. The Vet gave him a really good examination, and no problems, and no treatment needed. Like I've said previous, no one knows what is around the corner in this life. Thanks for the support Oh! I do trust these two Vets, and they don't rip you off.
