Does your bulldog love to play tug of war?

I said no because we try to curb the aggressive lungeing(sp) and stuff like that so we make him drop his toys and we play fetch. Brutus does not have a medium speed. It is calm or crazy with him.

Oh yes. Everything turns into tug of war. I think we'll be working on the "drop" and "leave it" commands forever. He just doesn't, or won't get it and treats don't work.

Oh yes... If I dont grab her tuggy she will play tug of war with my hands...

Yes, Brie loves tug of war. We try not to play it, but it's tough tricking her to drop the toy for fetch.

He does, but he is really good about it...he'll stop if you say no. And he really only does it with toys or his leash, sometimes...

Diesel loves to play tug but Molly & Madison aren't really into tug, they just let go of the toy.

Rocco likes to play it, but for very short perods of time lol

More like pull and walk in a circle for us. We try not to play tug or war too much with her.

Yes, they love this game, and they always win. Lol. They love to play tug of war with each other as well.

Ellie's absolute favorite. I don't think I've ever had a dog with the jaw strength that she has. Once she latches on, good luck! The other night, I actually had her off of the ground and was doing a very slow spin with her in the air and latched onto one of her toys. I've gotten to where if I do get her toy away from her, I toss it down the stairs so that she has to run them to go get it. It helps wear her out. It's funny how she'll hunker down with her butt up in the air, legs spread out and try to back up with sudden jerks to keep an upper hand on the game. I don't know what she's going to do if we're able to pull up the carpet and replace it with hardwood next year like we're hoping to do. She'll be sliding all over the place! :w00t:

Tug o war turns into fetch. We love to play toys!

I think every toy Buster has can be considered a tug-o-war toy! He likes to steal socks when we do the laundry and then run around the house daring us to play tug-o-war with him.

I answered no as we haven't given him much of a chance to practise on this as I'm not keen on letting him develop that part of the bulldog personality when interacting with us! So far, he's been very good at letting go of things on command. He does play tug-of-war with his dog friends, though, and seems to enjoy it.
