Color changing nails??

I noticed that Bocephus' finger nails change colors. Sometimes a few of them are black and grow in in a natural color or vice versa -are natural in color and grow in black. Any ideas??

Good question idk...but my Scarlet has both black & white nails. Im just guessing but its probably normal for them to change colors.

No I do mean they grow back different colors. Sometimes the are solid black or solid white or swirled.
