CHEWY IS HOME!!!

Just got a text from Cyndi.. they found CHEWY!!! She was at the vet's w/Mayhem, and got a call that someone turned him in at her groomer's. She's with him now, and it's HIM!!! I'll let her give you guys the details, just wanted to give you guys the GOOD NEWS!!!

Thanks for updating everyone Tracey! Here are the details:

This morning I was trying to think of any other places that I should post a flyer, contact, etc. and I remembered that I hadn't visited the groomers in town. I stopped by and told the lady that has groomed Chewy since he was a puppy that he was missing, while in the back of my mind thinking that it was a long shot.......he is only 6 lbs, had been missing since Sunday and it was 10 degrees here last night. While at the vet with Mayhem, I received a call on my cell phone.....my groomer Melissa said, "I have Chewy". A lady had found him wandering down her road, a few miles from here, picked him up and seeing that he was well cared for thought she would start her search of his owner at the groomers in town. The first stop she made, just happened to be the groomer I use and she recognized him immediately. To say that I am ecstatic, is definitely an understatement! The groomers fed and him and brushed out all of his tangles and everything before I got there. He ate again when we got home and is now sleeping.....the poor baby was worn out!

Oh my gosh...talk about a guiding hand! I just wanted to cry when I saw on facebook that you had him! I can't even imagine how excited you must be. I'd be holding on to him all night. So DELIGHTED for you!!

Happy tears are flowing for you & family that beloved Chewy is home.

Just before I logged on, I was thinking about you & praying for Chewy's safe
return and after, wondered if believing he would be found, was naive. (I too,
am mindful of his size & breed and our freezing temps while he's been out there)
and thought , No...I'm standing on my prayers, my hope and my wish for Cyndi
that Chewy comes home, safe & sound and I'm going to POST exactly that.

To come here and see this...speaks directly to my human heart that these things
are possible and do happen...all the time and to not give up hope.

Hi, just got home, and first thing I read. So happy to hear that Chewy was found safe and sound. I'm so happy for you. It must be such a relief, and I'm sure he's happy to be home as well. Poor baby.
