He’s doing very good. Last night we took him to Petco and let him pick out a toy. He was excited, bouncy, he had his nose investigating everything. He picked a chewy, got lots of love.

He has tried to rub his eyes so I put his blue collar on and out parrot Buddy freaked out. He’s settled now and Canelo is doing so good. Thanks for checking.

I used to have birds-I know how some things can freak them out!! As Canelo's eyes start to heal, they will itch more! Very happy that he is doing well!

We’ve had a mishap, he popped a stitch today and we are at the vet. Looks like the vet did a baseball stitch so I’m worried the entire eye might come loose. We are waiting to be seen by the vet now. Canelo has been very itchy today.

We’ve had a mishap, he popped a stitch today and we are at the vet. Looks like the vet did a baseball stitch so I’m worried the entire eye might come loose. We are waiting to be seen by the vet now. Canelo has been very itchy today.

He’s fixed but so groggy. He can’t beat the anesthesia, he sllllllooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy succumbed lol! I yelled no when he moved his paw, cone is back on now.

No damage, they were able to stitch him up again. He stayed in his kennel all night sleeping it off. This morning he is moving slow but was happy to eat and see what was happening outside. The vet and staff have been awesome.

Poor little guy! We’re thinking of him and hope he soon will be feeling ok. Castor was scheduled for eye surgery last summer but we ended up cancelling so Im following this thread.
