Sounds silly but I bought this book and read it. I suggest it as a reader for anyone that just recently got a puppy or rescue dog. Very helpful. I bought off of amazon

I took a look at the table of contents on Amazon and it really looks like a GOOD READ! I love that they tackled the history of bulldogs -- which explains how they have "no limits". I also think it's interesting that there's a different breed standard for the US, UK and UKC. There's also separate sections for Frenchies and American Bulldogs.
