Buckle up your Bulldog or car seat?

I am a newbie, just wondering if any of you buckle your bullie or car seat? Porkie sits in the passenger chair , is there a way to buckle her or place her in special car seat?

Ftse wears a harness in the car that has an attachment that's the seat belt attaches to, it is a good idea to strap them in as in case of an accident as Pork Chop or the others in the car would get hurt.

We have a car hammock we put in the back seat. We tried to put harness on them, but since they would move back and forth the ended up tangled up so tight they were constricting themselves. So we just drive really carefully. Open to suggestions.

We have an attachment as well that connects to the seat belt that we clip to Harlea's harness. She isn't a roamer in the car. She will look outside for a few minutes then go to sleep.

I also run the seatbelt through Bocephus' harness, and he's only allowed in the back seat. He would never stay put in the front and I'd be terrified he'd be hurt if we were in an accident and the airbags deployed

There are harnesses that allow the seat belt to go througt the back so they are belted in. Banks HATES the car so the only place she will go is on the floor withher head buried under the dashboard.

Safest place for them though.... crate in the back

Walley-Bubba has a Kong harness with a handle.
I loop the seatbelt through the handle.
WBe always rides shotgun with me in The Awesome Powar, my 2003 Dodge SRT-4 (Neon with 350HP) hotrod - it's his favorite car.
Nothing funner than pulling up at a light in that car with that dog looking out of the passenger window!

I seatbelt mine in, but I've always wondered which is safer, a seatbelt or crate? I have heard of dog car seats though.

Most harnesses come with an extra piece to use in the car with the seat belt
