BOY OH BOY... do I have some news!!!

Here is the newest member of the Schrump clan… It happened so fast that he doesn't even have a name yet!!! Lisa & David knew that we were looking at getting an EB puppy, and David got me in touch w/a breeder that was close by. Come to find out she had pups that were ready to find a home, and as of yesterday night she told me that she would be driving thru. I have been running like a mad woman today trying to get everything that I need… luckily I still had some stuff from Winston.
We are absolutely thrilled… he's adorable And SO chubby… he has got the biggest paws that I have EVER seen!!!

I want to add that we did discuss getting a rescue, but we ran into several issues. First off we don't have a rescue near us here in Nashville, Smoky Mountain Bulldogs is basically closed down. And the rescues that we did check would not allow us to have one because we live too far away Plus as most of you know, I have had several stray dogs staying at the house the last couple of months. Roxie didn't seem too keen on them being at our home, and she did so well w/Winston. We made the final decision that a puppy would be the best choice for Roxie, she seems to tolerate them easier.

I can't Thank [MENTION=2071]Davidh[/MENTION] enough for helping me find a wonderful breeder, who obviously cares very much for her babies. It's his grand puppy after all, and we are so thrilled to have a baby from his bloodline

I'm almost speechless now, lol Congratulations, Tracey...he is awesome!

Yeah, David...I owe him for my Cami and lots of people have had all kinds
of good done for them (so quietly too), he's a good egg and so is his wife,
Bev. Great & healthy bloodline to have too! Sooooo happy for y'all, I'd say

I'm so excited for your family, I can't stand it. You don't have to explain why you got a puppy instead of a rescue. This wad the best fit for your family. Roxie has to be comfortable too. This is baby is going to be super spoiled. Puppy welcome gifts are coming your way from auntie Rosalie and the gang!!! Woot woot, this has made my whole week!!!! I'm holding out for Mattox in the name dept.

David is amazing, and so is his wife Bev… we are so very blessed w/this little guy. The breeder had originally wanted to show him, but after talking to me and hearing our story she said that she really felt he was the right choice for my family. I honestly did not know what to say…

I hope at some point that I can get a rescue, and I wanted to explain why we didn't… Roxie is top priority as far as this goes. She's going to be 10 in June, and I don't want her to have a heart attack!!! I should take a pic of all the toys he has as of today… it's absolutely ridiculous!!!
