Thanks! Yes, it is pretty, but there is a BIG gator that patrols in it!! Luckily, Jackson has no interest in water in the least.

Wow - an alligator outside your house? That sounds exotic to us! I have only seen alligators in zoos (hm, perhaps crocodiles, not alligators ).

WE are on a pond ( about 50 feet from it). Gator is "Big Al". He's a good 13 footer. He doesn't bother us ( as long as we are afar). He just swims up and down the pond. We RESPECT his territory and it drives me NUTS when I see kids fishing at the pond. Very scary.
