Hi everyone! The other day I noticed that my French Bulldog was missing one of her front teeth on the bottom row. It looks like the full tooth is gone and not just chipped. I have no idea how this could have happened. Has anyone had an adult dog lose a tooth before? We always said her bottom row of teeth looks like little chiclets, I don't want her losing all of them lol!

Just a pic of her teeth before she lost one!

Shouldn't be an issue as long as it didn't get ripped out. My g/f chihuaha has lost quite a few adult teeth.

it happens sometimes. they are tiny teeth and not very deep. most times they just wear down

So cute! We will still love her even if she starts to look like a pumpkin :p

I'm not much help here either, don't know a reason why her tooth would have fallen out, did she play tug of war with something maybe, or bite on something hard? It sometimes happens, just keep an eye on it. She's adorable, what's her name? I love French Bulldogs

She is a cutie.

She looks a lot like my Chelios!!! Adorable..... sorry no help on the teeth

Gotta love her face. Maybe she thinks she is an English bulldog. Mimi managed to break/lose most of her small 4 front bottom teeth along the way. Her bottom teeth were kinda small. You could see some of them broken off, some of them looked liked they were missing completely. Never seemed to bother her and the vet wasn't worried about it. She really went to town with the nylabones, deck, possums or whatever she could chew on. Luckily she wasn't much into chewing in furniture or toes.

I didn't think it could happen just like that....but good to know if it happens, so I don't need to freak out....
