Hi everyone, with summer here, comes flea and tick season, I found this Safe and Easy way to get rid of a tick, that works on you, your children, and your pets. I thought I'd share it with you.

1) Apply a small amount of liquid soap on a cotton ball

2) Cover the tick with soap soaked cotton ball

3) Blot it for 15 to 20 seconds. The tick will spontaneously detach and stick to the cotton ball as you
remove it.

Add/keep liquid soap and cotton balls in your summer First Aid Kit.

Thank you Monica
I went and changed tick meds from Frontline to K9 Advantix 2 and have been pulling tick's off one of my dogs like crazy so it won't be long till i can give this a try.

i tried this but doesn't and didn't work. it's also kinda a myth. sorry guys. but maybe it's just me hehe. there's also a chance of the soap getting in the puncture wound so be careful.

Never heard of soap! When I was a child, we used butter which was supposed to suffocate the ticks. For Castor we have a tool that looks like a pen with a little lasso but if we humans get ticks we use a pair of tweezers.
