7 month old

No changes I got the pen back out he was OK last night no poo in the pen but then I noticed that he's peed in it,so tonight I'll take away the bedding and see how that works.

Tav, When he goes to bed, he probably goes straight to sleep, now, if Lou wakes 2-3hrs later because of the irritation on his paws, and he starts chewing them, he will be wide awake and then most pups and dogs, will want to go outside. That maybe the reason for this problem, because its unusual for any dog to soil their bedding. Are his paws still bothering him, or have you done anything, to ease the irritation? Also, is he stretching more than usual? If he is that could be a sign of stomach discomfort. I also would not lock him in the crate, leave it open, that may cause Lou more discomfort. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply his paw is OK now since we changed his food. I'm not sure why he has started to pee and poo in the kitchen when he was in his pen he was OK now that we've given him more space. He's going in the kitchen it's probably laziness. I'll keep an eye on him I forget he's still a pup st 7 months.

Hi he's having 2 meals a day I cut the grams down today to one full mug of adult kibble at 8am then another at 2.30pm he went to the toilet a few times. And this morning I went down to the kitchen and he'd šŸ’© and peeid the wife let him out at 10pm to go to the toilet I can't get my head around it. I stopped the water at 8pm so the only option is to put him back in the pen, at night šŸŒ™
Please don’t stop the water dogs always need access to it. It’s unusual for a dog his age not to go overnight without needing the toilet. When he does this do you criticise him for it or do you act like it’s nothing and say nothing? Are his stools firm or soft?
He’s a looker by the way as I’m sure you know lol

Hi his stools are OK and when he does have an accident let's call them I say nothing,I just try and get him to go outside. I put a baby changing mat on the floor in his pen to sleep, which he had when he was younger. I came down this morning and it's dry plus no poos great news. Hopefully this will sort out the accidents at the moment he's not ready to have the freedom off a big kitchen to himself to wonder around without having any accidents. In the day he's great no problems when he wants to go out he will walk to the back door, anyway cheers for the reply and with the water I pick his dog bowl up at 8pm but when he goes outside he's drinking from the puddles in the garden so I'll just leave the bowl down. Lol
