He did see a vet about 2 months ago when he developed cherry eye he was 17kg then the vet didn't say anything about his weight. Cheers Lennie I might have to have a look at his diet. It does say at s adult weight should be 24kg for him.In my opinion, to heavy Tav, don't forget his bones at 7mths are still developing. Get a plan together, to get some weight off Brucie. What other food besides Kibble do you feed? I'm surprised the vet has not mentioned it, that's if he has seen him recently.

Cheers Lennie you may be right like my old bulldog who lived until 12 and had no health issues I go by the waist I try and keep it narrow not the size of the body. Anyway I'll keep sn eye on him as we won't do as much exercise with him as you cheers for your opinion anyway. Great help. Its only my opinion Tav, other members may not agree. I personally think 16kg at that age, and that is if he is a big dog. Remember his bone'sJeffo is 7yrs and a big dog, 21kgs and fit, out three times a day, two on the lead, 45mins free running.
Oh you meant 380g per day. Sorry about that. “2 times a day 380g” guess we misunderstoodWe've been given him 1.5 cups twice a day large kibble the weight in g is 185g twice a day. That's what it said on the package.
Well now there’s a photo, for a 7month old pup, he looks good. They will look like that at that age. Like a mini barrel. They don’t have a waist yet. It starts around a year old. I would get him off puppy food and start the adult ones. Stick to ONE protein for a month and then once the bag is finished start another different protein…….and so on. It takes a good 6 months to know “IF” any allergies. Not one of my dogs had any food allergies because I did them steps. So worth it.To be honest I'm not sure I think 20kg
That’s way too much. Here’s a breakdown of grams to cup. You need puppy food cause the protein, minerals, calories are needed. BUT, you been over feeding him an that’s why he’s always pooping it out. Puppies goes about 3x per day and then maybe 2 if kibble is their diet. Raw diet it’s usually 1x per day and they drink a lot less water. Also them brands to stay away from, aren’t helping cause it’s all grains. These aren’t cows.
- Small Kibble: Approximately 80-90 grams per cup.
- Medium Kibble: Approximately 90-110 grams per cup.
- Large Kibble: Approximately 110-130 grams per cup.
- Small Dogs (up to 20 lbs): Typically require 1/2 to 1 cup of kibble daily.
- Medium Dogs (20-50 lbs): Generally need 1 to 2 cups of kibble daily.
- Large Dogs (50 lbs and above): Usually require 2 to 4 cups of kibble daily.
As a guide can I add, a dog should go for each meal plus one. So 3 meals equals 4 poos. What does Brucie Weigh now?
Hi he's having 2 meals a day I cut the grams down today to one full mug of adult kibble at 8am then another at 2.30pm he went to the toilet a few times. And this morning I went down to the kitchen and he'dAs a guide can I add, a dog should go for each meal plus one. So 3 meals equals 4 poos.
