Hi there...

Probiotics for it to work is best live strains. As puppies, you don’t want to overdo it with all sorts. Puppies had mom’s milk so they are still very protected. A good balanced healthy gut flora is the most important part of a body to have a strong immune system. Same as humans. If you can start a puppy on a raw diet, puppy will be fine. Raw has it’s own natural probiotics. Be very careful “not” to get caught up on boutique gizmos that’s being sold out there. Good for this n for that etc etc.... If you’re going with a kibble make sure it’s a high quality product n simply add small cut up pieces of raw organs on ONE meal per day as a topper. Go to your grocery store buy example, liver and/or heart. Cut them up, freezer in little ziploc bags n freeze them. Or go to your pet shop in their freezer section and get the green smelly tripe in patties. It smells but that’s the best thing you can feed any dog. Tripe is my go to. So don’t bother in these fancy products they sell as bites of probiotics. Absolutely no need. Eventually, you can also give fermented sauerkraut or fermented veggies. Being in the food industry, I can tell you, go food wise n not gizmo wise. Food is fuel, clean n natural.

I also use natural probiotic... gots milk or fresh sauerkraut. If you prefer to buy a brand, Herbsmiths micro flora is a very good one

I rotate between sauerkraut, goat’s milk and fermented fish stock. Also give green tripe here and there.
