I think it's normal to be worried. I have had 2 adult Bulldogs and we had the puppy for a short time.

When we had her she really was our new baby. She was the sweetest thing ever but we had to babyproof the house. She was so adventurous. So definitely watch out for ANYTHING he can access.

I freaked out AFTER we got ours. Wondered wth i had done and if we could be a good enough home for him. 3 years later and not a day goes by that I think of the happiness and completion he's brought to our family.
