URGENT!!! Winnie has hives everywhere!

The first picture is before he was given any Benadryl, the second one is after 3 doses of Benadryl!! Not much difference but as soon as I gave him Zyrtec they went away!!

Benadryl doesn't work for Blue either, but 10mgs of Claritin does.

wow.. that would of sent me screaming to the vet. glad the zyrtec worked.

If I didn't work in a Vet clinic for the past 10 years Im sure it would have sent me immediately to the vet in a panic!! However, since I've seen it many many times I knew to give benadryl.

Excellent advice given from members already, Dozer got hives last year, I still don't know what caused them, I have him Benadryl, and it helped the first day, but took 3 days before they were totally gone. There were no other symptoms. Just keep an eye on him for any swelling of his face, eyes or tongue or any breathing problems, which would indicate a more severe allergic reaction, which would require an immediate vet visit. I'm glad he's improving and okay. Please keep us posted on how he's doing.
