I would watch it and see if it spreads ... I was going to say hotspot but have never experienced them myself so hopefully somebody else will come along and give some better insight into what it could be!!!

is that on the back of her neck? could be the start of hot spot, check for other area's , arm pits and such, belly area, throat.
did the spot appear like that? or did you notice hair coming out and start pulling on it? that can make it red too.

Yeah right on the back of her neck. No, just noticed it a few moments ago and it was like that. Its right where her collar sits. No other spots have been found yet.

Does she have a click collar or a buckle collar? could of her collar pinched her neck there? you could put a dab of Desitin on that. just a dab, not a glob

Its a martingale so it doesn't have that. I'm thinking it could have been pinched or something. I'll try desitin. Thanks!

Unfortunately Dublin gets hotspots and Looking at that it would lead me to belive that it might be one.

is the spot moist?

you can clean it with Listerine.... best is to keep it clean and dry
