That would be a Smootchie. Orion's grandma picked that up for her at Petco last night. The size is a large...but the only thing I don't like is the neck doesn't velcro. The belly does, but not the neck. It fits her perfect, but I'd like the neck to be a smidge bigger. Oh, they have matching "slippers" too. Orion would bite me for sure if I tried to put those on her.

Libra926 Thanks for letting me know ..... I think I'll go and check out the sizing of one for maggie. If the neck needs to be a bit bigger maybe I'll go for X-Large although Maggie only weighs 39lb!

I would have wanted an xlarge, but it puts 2 inches more on the tail end. Orion is so compact, the large fits her perfect in length. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!

Another thing you can do Libra (back to the chin stain) is use ear cleaner on the area. I do not use cotton balls because it just absorbs into the cotton ball and doesnt really get the area very good. I squirt the ear cleaner on a huggies baby wipe. This will kill bacteria, because that stain is bacteria and/or yeast. Use that as well to start the healing process.

You can also bath the area with anti-microbal shampoo from your vet such as chlorhexiderm.

I have ear cleaner for sure. I started putting a little vinegar in the drinking water. I learned awhile ago that by doing this you neutralize the urine potency. So, I just did the whole wipe the chin with vinegar and wipe the chin with ear cleaner. Vegas is now hiding behind his grandma on the chair and Orion has run upstairs. *sigh*

I did vinegar for Samson's paw, he licks it and it looks yeasty right now. He was not happy either.

The things we do for our babies ......
