Vacinne question

Hi

Bruce has just been for his 12 week vaccination (finally he will be able to burn off all that energy in a few weeks)

His first vaccine was nobivac DHP and nobivac L4

I have just checked his card and he has now been given nobivac DHPPi and nobivac L2

Could anyone advise???

Distemper, adenovirus, parvo and influenza is the DHppi, L2 is the leptosporosis(sp?) vaccine. Is that what you meant? [MENTION=19086]Amy89[/MENTION]

Sorry, would you suggest we get him the L4?

L4-I don't remember if my dogs got that-I don't think so. There is controversy about that one, as quite a few dogs had bad reactions to it. According to you, he had one,and I don't know how many should be given. Personally, I would not get another L4, but it is your decision. His next round should be the rabies. Once he has that and completed his shots, then you can take him out(off your property).

I wouldn’t give L4. Try not to give all the shots at the same time. That’s where complication/reactions starts. Spread them out. Give puppy a break.

There has been 4 weeks between his 1st and 2nd set of vacinne.

I will not bother with the L4, thanks all
