It's a secret!...

Actually, Nitschke was an amazingly good boy -- did whatever we wanted him to and basically, just took it. Once we said 'leave it' he would just lay there looking at us.

oh my gosh, such a good boy he was. no wonder you loved him so much. ahhhhh honey.

Nitschke was a very handsome boy alright. May he forever rest in peace.

Oh Christine...this holiday season is going to be so hard for you. Nitschke was a wonderful guy. I'm so sorry you are hurting so. Grief is a hard thing...but remembering how special he was is the best way to deal with it. I think it's great you are sharing these pictures and memories with us. We are here to help you heal...and in the process..we get to know Nitschke! :luv:

Thanks, Becky! I am working on a scrapbook of him, hence the pictures being 'found' and Thanksgiving is a bitter sweet holiday for our family. Add to a few other losses this time of year --- Nitshcke was the first animal of any kind my sister let in her house for T-day... let alone a normal day.

I believe "the holidays" are bittersweet for most of us! We just keep on heading for the "sweet"!!!
