General Question This can't be seasonal allergies.

A few weeks ago I took Lily to the vet because she had a small blad spot on her lower back.The vet said it was seasonal allergies and gave us Clavamox. Well the spot is still there and the skin looks red now where it did not before. I've put HP on it, Vit E and Douxo but nothing seems to be working. I am going to call the vet in the am. I'm wondering if she could have Demodex.
Is there anything else I should try?

Any thougths??

Lola has a similar balding spot and the vet told me it was probably allergies as well. i'm going to keep hp and vit e lotion on it. Lola s spot isn't as red tho. more like dry skin

Yea that's how it look at the first to but then it got red.
I just don't know what to do at this point...

It's dry. Not moist at all. I didn't think it was a hot spot.
She is not trying to scratch at it either.

Not scabby. A little flaking..not much.

That is very much what Gypsy's demodex looked like. Got really red and looked a little scaly but not really, kwim? Is it itchy?

I don't think it's itchy. She doesn't try to scratch it...
What you said sounds just like what she has now.
It's red and a little scaly or flanky...
I'm thinking it might be demodex to. Calling the vet right now!

No the vet that we saw said he was certain it was just seasonal allergies and nothing more.
Oh I hope I see him again today when I bring her back in!

Gypsy's demodex was not itchy either. Good luck. Hope it isn't mange but hope you DO get some answers!

im glad your taking her back in she has had this long enough with the other things your mentioned. ill be thinking of you and her and hoping you get some answers finally.
