Mine are on a schedule because we live on the 17th floor of an apartment building.

But whenever we've rented a cottage , or now, when we're at the house- they do the same thing- they want out all the time- well tough on them. I can't have them go off-schedule.
I just leave them on the back deck and It's enough. Stops Wellie from whining (my god that boy can whine when he wants something )

Belle does this sometimes too but usually I can tell if she's just bored. I'll test her by throwing her an antler or toy to distract her. If she still insists on going to the door then I know it's for real. They are too smart sometimes!

she just wants to go back and play. You know when she goes and you said it yourself. If she just wants out to play, bask under the sun or what have you, it is up to you to give her that time. Give her some but not much. Otherwise you will be out every 15 minutes just like you said.
