So today I met a very knowledgeable girl at petsmart. She seemed very educated about dog foods.

She said that sometimes tear stains are because of dyes they put in the food. I tend to believe anything someone tells me, so I am wondering if it is true? Don't want to pass on advice that is a myth....?

Not sure on dyes but I know beets in dog food can stain. I think lamb also stained my boy but it is hard to know for sure. We have been thru so many foods some with allergic reactions and some with staining real bad but the one thing for sure is beets do stain like crazy. ;)
