Tate and his new girlfriend

This morning Tate and Finn had a playdate with Yuki, my friend's 2 year old female, German Shepherd. Finn was being a PITA so he missed out on the fun but Tate absolutely loved playing with Yuki. They had met before but never played off-leash til today. Yuki came from a German Shepherd Rescue and was used as a breeding dog and never really socialized much with other dogs. I thought they played so well together and I do believe that Tate found his new best friend!

Awwww I bet Tate was wore out afterwards!! Vegas use to play with my son's pit-mix like that, he was always like the fat kid on the playground and would just lay down and pant. Cute video, thanks for sharing

Kelly, you got it right! Before the playdate we all went for a long walk together and then they played like crazy. Yes, he is sleeping very, very deeply right now!

I also think of Tate as the "little fat kid" on the playground too but was surprised at his stamina.

Julie, do tell Richard that Tate says "thank you" for noticing the slight weight loss! Well, Finn was inside the house b/c as you know, he can be a grumpy old man and instead of playing like everyone else, Finn was barking at Yuki and scaring her. As much as I tried to get him to play and "be nice", he was being territorial and bossy. I will try again next time with Finn since he needs more socializing but it can be challenging.
