We lost our French bulldog two months ago very suddenly. He jumped out of bed one morning and started having grand mall seizures. He had been acting normally up till that point had this was a shock. We rushed him to the emergency vet but they could never get him out of the seizure state and they said it was a brain tumor. He was only 10 years old and we adopted at 6. It was so quick and before we knew it, he was gone.
Two weeks ago, we had to make the decision to allow our 14 year elkhound, Buddie, to cross the Bridge. He too had a brain tumor. He was confused and wasn't eating. Seizures had not started yet, but the vet said we were headed down the same path. We adopted Bud at age 3 from a local shelter.
Both of these boys were wonderful fur kids and impacted our lives greatly. They are missed very much.
