Swims like a rock

Where I live in North Georgia, is very near Lake Lanier

Ty loves taking baths and playing in puddles, so I was curious about his reaction to seeing the lake

When he first saw it, as expected he was very curious so we went down to the edge

He sniffed and ventured in
A boat goes by; blew his mind!!!!

He goes a little further up to his belly, splashes some with his paws, loves it!

So now he's a little braver and goes out some more, obviously there was a big drop off and down he goes!!!

I had him on a retractable leash so it was like reeling in a big fish!

No harm done, the look on his face was priceless;

'holy crap, what happened '

After a good shake off he wanted to go back

My Bella can swim! She absolutely loves the water. I would love to bring her to the beach. I am curious what she would think of the waves.

Nyala too. She just goes right in it n doesn’t care. But no way would she be without her leather training leash if its deep it’s with her vest. When I cross Canada, we pit stop in our Great Lakes in Ontario and those currents are so strong she’s glued to my side on her leash. She’s clipped on her harness n her collar. Loll last yr Duke first time was into a river flowing through Banff/Rockies damm cold too. He saw Nyala going in and he just followed. I need to get him a vest now that he’s fully grown or almost.
