Sunday, I said goodbye to my sweet girl — my loyal companion of 12½ years.

Pickle brought so much love, joy, and comfort into my life. Her presence made every day a little brighter. Whether she was wagging her little nub of a tail to greet me, curling up by my side, joining me on a hike, or simply being there through life’s ups and downs — she was family.

It’s hard to put into words how much I’ll miss her, but I’m forever grateful for the time we had together. She passed peacefully in her sleep, wrapped in daddy’s arms — just the way she deserved.

My heart is broken, but so full of love for her.

Rest easy, sweet P. You’ll always have a piece of my heart.

I could’ve used another 12 1/2 years. We were together 99% of the time and I miss her so much. but I cherish those years that I did have her.

I actually have some videos of her sleeping and snoring so I put that on my digital picture frame and looped it so I can hear her snoring all night. It helps me sleep because I was so used to it
