I've been thinking a lot about whether our next bully will be a rescue or a puppy, and ran into a hiccup I hadn't considered. I ran across a post in another dog owners group about being denied an adoption because they lived in an apartment.
Does anyone know if that's a common occurrence? Is an apartment an automatic no?
We live in a super pet friendly complex, but mostly like will be here for a while until my Masters is finished.

It really depends on the rescue and the dogs that are available at the time.....

Yep it does depend on the rescue. Each has their own standard.

I went ahead and put our application in with Smokey Mountain Bulldog Rescue. I guess all they can do is say no. Fingers crossed!

We will keep our fingers cross for you also.

fingers and paws crossed here hope you find that missing family member and thank you for considering adoption

I live an apartment , passed home inspection. I have no stairs . The complex is all ground level.
