Someone came to visit me in Florida....

..... I missed this silly girl!

Have been here since last Monday (my dad broke his patella [emoji3525])
I didn’t bring her because I knew I’d be out too much and didn’t want to leave her at his house all by herself for so long)
Luckily my daughter came for the weekend and brought her so I could see her!! She is back at home now :-/

She’s in good hands.. My patella was out of it’s socket. This winter I fell on both knees. The pain is horrible. I did put frankincense 2x a day to relieve pain. Pain did go. Then I went to my chiropractor for my lower back (maintenance) n while he bend my leg for my back, he didn’t tell me n yanked the knee cap back in its place. Like ouch n Ooooo felt better.

Unfortunately his is broken in half.....
He must have a high pain tolerance because it happened last Saturday night. He didn’t all the ambulance until Sunday morning.
The ER told his he fractured patella and put him in a soft cast and gave him crutches and told him to go home and see his orthopedic dr.
(Now he is a large man who just had a complete knee replacement on the same knee three months ago and can’t get around very well without the fractured knee cap)
When I took him to his dr on Tuesday he sent him directly to the hospital for admittance and scheduled surgery for the next day!
It was completely broken in half! They didn’t think he should have been able to put pressure on it or walk at all, but he had for the whole three days (well hobbled anyway)
Surgery was rescheduled two times and he finally had it Saturday morning... he won’t be able to bend it for 6 weeks.... :-/ so that mean a rehab facility for at least that long....
of course the Dr. won’t say the ER was wrong for sending him home ...

OUCH! Great that you got a visit. Bad that he has a broken knee cap. Nothing that some wire and a few screws can't fix...and 6-8 weeks of recovery. It will seem like eternity for him. Maybe he gets lucky and doesn't need the invasive repair.
Bella is such a good girl.

Thank you! He is at least on the road to recovery.
He now has 6 weeks in Rehab since he cannot bend his leg for 6 weeks...:-/
Then i am sure more rehab to have him learn how to bend his leg and walk again.
