Hello! My name is Sahara and I am looking for my forever family! SCBR found me waiting at the shelter for a new life… My life before SCBR wasn’t all that great – my previous owners didn’t take very good care of me and let me get very skinny and bred me a lot. Unfortunately, they didn’t clean my ears a lot and they are now closed up to the point that I’m pretty much deaf. But, you wouldn’t really know it because I am actually really obedient. I will look to you constantly and respond really well to hand signals (and kisses). I don’t mind being deaf one bit, I can’t hear noises that scare me like other dogs barking and sirens! My former home didn’t teach me how to be potty-trained either, so I’ll need to learn that, but I want to learn so I can be a good girl for you. Despite my rough upbringing, I am one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet. If cuddling is a crime, then I am guilty as charged! Give me a lap, and I’m a happy girl. Whatever you want to do, I’m happy to do it as long as I’m with you – car rides, walks, sitting out in the grass and enjoying the fresh air – I just want to be by your side, close and cuddly. I can’t wait to find a home that will treat me good and love me like I deserve. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to share it with a family that appreciates and loves me back.

General information:

Bulldogs in Southern California will only be adopted in Southern California and no out of state adoptions. Out of state applications are encouraged to contact their local rescue program and speak with them about local dogs.

** PLEASE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE PRIOR TO INQUIRING ABOUT ANY OF THE BULLDOGS - NO EXCEPTIONS. **

Adoption fees between $400.00 to $1000.00 do apply with adoptions, pets will have all shots completed and be spayed or neutered.

Please allow a 7 to 10 days for a reply to emails concerning dogs.
