If she is exposed to many people and is only mounting your husband, the answer, I think, is clear. 6 months is a little early though?

This has come up recently a few times here and elsewhere. It just so happens I have a link readily available. I couldn’t dislike the aspca more but they have the best informative article I have yet found on dog behavior mounting and masturbation

Thanks. We've never had a female dog and were surprised at her behavior. I guess we're pretty naive. Lol
