Strange but true, Sherman has a small patch of fur on his shoulder that is longer than the rest of his fur. It also sheds more than the rest of him.
Thoughts?

has the vet seen it?

when feeling of it, is there a lump or anything beneath?

Best I can do with my cellphone. And I don't feel anything under it like a bump. It's just longer than all his other fur and sheds a lot.

Perhaps that is his "cowlick!" Sometimes, if they have ever had a cut, scratch in a spot, the hair will grow back differently.

never seen anything like that...but it's cute. Embrace his daring to be different!

Interesting... gotta be a cowlick, like Lynn stated. Never seen it before

Hair follicle tumors? And NO not that kind of tumor!!! usually benign!!!!!! So DONT panic... BUT.....have your vet determine it... my German Shepherd had some of clusters of hair like that. Now I’m NOT saying that’s what it is but reminds me of what Major had. Here found a link that explains it better than me...:)
