Random fish ramble

Ok, totally random but I was thinking about [MENTION=983]LariP[/MENTION] and [MENTION=1034]BruceP[/MENTION] and how they have their koi and goldfish and was wondering if the fish have actual personalities. Do they form friendships or attachments to other fish? Do you get emotionally attached to a fish like you would a dog or cat or is it more how fun they are watch and look at?

They do have personalities. Some like Bruiser our Chagoi Koi are just naturally almost tame. Very calm. Eat out of our hands and even seem to have a calming effect on the other koi in the pond. Bruiser is also our favorite koi. But no I can't say we ever have been attached to the fish like we are to HRH. It's Totally different.

That is pretty neat. I never really thought about if they had individual personalities but it would make sense that they would.

My grandson just got 2 goldfish! Luigi and Guido....they just seem like ALL Italian goldfish! :D
