Help Needed! Puppy who's mom overstimulated him cure?

I've got no experience in this but will continue to pray with you
that Rhino gets better & better. Hopefully, someone can help.
GOD be with you & for you!

At the risk of sounding even MORE dumb, than I am-what do you mean by "his Mom overstimulated him?" Please.

He was the runt of the litter and lasted the longest with his mom, and the mother would stimulate him to poop by licking his butt so he would poop, well she continued to do that until the breeder sold him. Now if you just touch his but he will just poop.

Well, I thought this was the pup who has nerve damage....have you seen a vet with him-or was this a self-diagnoses? Wasn't he wearing diapers because he had no bowel control? I have never heard of the mother "overstimulating" unless she KNEW that something was not right. If you saw the vet-what did HE give as a diagnoses?

My boys love getting butt scratches. They'll walk to me, turn around and sit, with their butts toward me, signalling they want a scratch. I'm thinking yours feel the same way. It's such a bulldog thing.

Yes, butt scratches ARE something that bulldogs love-but they don't normally poop, if you do that! ????????

I have never run a crossed this problem. I think I would see what your vet thought, maybe something else going on.

At first I wasn't sure what you meant by the mom overstimulated the puppy, but when I read further, you clarified it. I have never heard of this, so sorry I don't have any experience with it. I hope he gets better, sending hugs, love and prayers that you find a solution to his poop problem, and he improves. Please keep us posted on how he's doing. I'm sorry you're going through this with your baby.

Please keep us posted!

I have never heard if this happening. If he goes poo when his bottom is touched he simply cannot hold it in. Even young pups start holding it to a certain extent even with mom's stimulation. Is his poop solid yet or is it mushy?

You need a bully experienced vet to correctly diagnose this problem.
It IS NOT from the mother bully over stimulating him as a puppy.
As for as 'too mushy' poop...again, that too could be a symptom of
his problem. I think it is a serious one and he may always need diapers
but until he is correctly diagnosed, it is all guesses, he deserves more
than guesses. Try canned, pure pumpkin (not pie mix) and give 1 TBSP
mixed with his food to see if it helps firm his poo.

Please let us know what you find out and give him kisses & hugs from me.
Praying for all of you.
