Cue
Yesterday afternoon Cue peed in the house for the first time since we got her. Then she did it again a few hours later. Then she peed on her bed at 6 this morning. We woke up and found a few little spots next to her bed as well. At this point I'm thinking it might be a UTI. Then there was another little pee spot that appeared and this time it had a blood spot the size of a pin-head... but a blood spot none-the-less. Needless to say, I called the vet right away and she went this morning.

Poor baby has a bacterial infection and can't control her bladder very well right now. It escalated so quickly!!! I swear she was peeing fine until like 5pm yesterday! She is on an antibiotic now and the vet also suggested we start using medicated wipes on her wrinkles instead of baby wipes/ witch hazel. (They've been a little irritated lately). Vet said that might be bacterial too and hopefully the antibiotic will be a cure all.... fingers crossed.

This little girl is going to be the death of me... and my savings lol

oh man! rough. but it could be worse. Im glad that it is an easy fix! reading this im like OH NO thinking maybe she had diabetes! but hoping for a fast recovery! poor baby

Poor baby but she will start feeling much better now that she's on antibiotics. Give Cue a big old smooch from us!

Awe.... poorr girl. When our girl was young (she is pushing 9 yrs) she had UTI's CONSTANTLY..... we had to wipe he ever time she went potty to try and avoid them.

Hope she feels better real soon... and yes, they do come on very fast

Oh poor Cue, hope the antibiotics star working quick for her.

Poor Cue, I hope the antibiotics wipe it out. You were very smart to take her in quickly like that.

Hope she starts to feel better real soon!!! ;)

We just went through the same thing with Brutus. It does come on very quick but the good news is that the antibiotic works really quick also and the peeing should stop within a day or two. I hope your baby feels better soon.

Cue is doing better, she hasn't had an accident in the house since being home from the vet thankfully. Last night though while she was on the couch, she had a head tremor. Thankfully I had a small idea what they were from being on this forum (I swear you guys are a godsend) but it still really freaked me out. To my knowledge she has never had one before, but she was fine once we distracted her. The only thing that has changed recently was that she is now on the antibiotic for her UTI. Has anyone had experience with head tremors after starting an antibiotic or could it be a coincidence?

Thing with head tremors is it is unknown what causes them, we can sort of get it to what might be the cause... like for banks it seems to be stress or change related. Our boy, it was when his allergies were in high gear. As long as the distraction works and she responds... it isOK, scary for us harmless to them
