Picking up your baby bully

How do yall pick up your babies? Levi is 17 weeks old and weighs about 20 pounds.--- everytime we pick him up (kinda up under arms and side) he growls. Is that normal? Any recommendations?

My girl is 62 lbs, picking up is a chore.... Put she growls every time, she just does not like it

I would have to pick mine up with a crane! IF you pick him up-put your hand under his but,too-to support him. No growling allowed!

Okay. We will try to support his bottom better. We've just been pretending he is a child and going under his little arms. Bless him

I try not to lift by the arms or legs. I craddle underneath with the belly. I wish I had Jewel's weight in gold...60 lbs. (approx 30 kgs.).

I kinda scoop Brutus from the bottom and under his arms. never grab by the belly.
