Our new foster girl

Well for a week anyways.... Last night at work a bully owner surrendered her precious 2 yr old little girl ... When I found out this morning since yesterday was my half day and immediately went and hung out w her for a while. I contacted Diane w lone star bulldog rescue and she immediately tagged her!! She has double cherry eye and her eye lashes are growing inward and the previous owner didn't want to take her to Dallas to a specialist. She now has 2 ulcers forming in both eyes but seems like she can see fine... She is getting along w lex Libby and bo. She is healthy besides her eyes.... We are meeting them next sat so she can go to her new foster home... This breaks my heart. The old owners were told by our vet if we couldn't find her a home by Monday she was gonna be put down which pissed me off royally....

I am so glad I wasn't there when she dropped her off I would have said a few choice words.. I will try and get some good pics once she settles down a little more, she is a wiggle worm!!

She is such a beauty, and a sweetie, it's hard to believe her owners wouldn't spend the money to get her fixed. She would give them many years of love and loyalty. So sad, but I'm so happy you were there the get her and bring her home. Great job Kendall.

Aww, how sad so glad you were there to take her It's heartbreaking how people just give up on their pets, there are so many options nowadays and you'd think if you can afford to buy a bulldog you'd afford to help them out when sick... If she's not staying with you I hope she finds an awesome furever home.

Yes lone star bulldog rescue in Dallas will be taking her next sat, we are going up there anyways. Lex is teaching her how to play she hasn't put anything in her mouth besides a bone but u can tell she really wants to start playing like them

Aww poor baby, but good thing her owners gave her up, they don't deserve her in the first place. Thank goodness you were there to take her, and thank you for saving her, I hope that she finds a deserving family, and a furever home, and her eyes get repaired. Sending love and prayers for her.

OMG… I'm just NOW reading this, and I'm so damn angry!!! My Winston is going thru the same issues, he's having double entropion surgery on Wed. I'm so angry that they would put her down because of her eyes… WTH is wrong w/people?!! I'm so glad that you guys were able to foster her for a bit anyway!!!

She is beautiful, its great that she got to go to a beautiful person, others a right, people a just SH#@t, honestly its just not fair, thank goodness she is safe now.
