See, you simply can’t rely on what they look like as puppies... Jake is Duke’s blood brother as you know n Duke was the biggest out of the litter. Jake has over 10lbs on Duke. They sure change

Puppy Sophie

LOL at Meaty's swim trunks!!! :D After a few years, he REFUSED to wear them!

Baby Sophie, always safe with her older bruver (LOVE his "turkey leg" !!!!!) :D

Her 9th Birthday, April 2020. She died the next month Ugh, it's almost been a year, and I still cry so often.

Mid January 2021
Joker...8YO Male emaciated @ 37 lbs
Sad and withdrawn
Walks very slowly
Poor eyesight
Skin and Coat Yellow from urine leakage
Spine and Ribs showing
Unknown at the time but Bladder stone the size of a medium Hush Puppy and 4 smaller stones in his Ureter
Mild Cherry eye, dry eye.


Now...May 16th 2021
Joker @ 52 lbs
No more stones
Fur white and now that stitches are out, he'll be getting a bath soon
He now has laser-vision but his cherry eye is not a big deal so that will remain uncorrected.
Lots of wiggle in his butt
He's no longer incontinent
He's crate trained
He's very gentle and very happy
He likes Lala...
everybody likes Lala as long as they don't sniff her butt

I haven't been here in a while, so I'm seeing this in August.
This makes my heart SO, SO happy !!!!
