Hello everyone, I found this group by surfing the web and I’m very excited. Little miss Iggy had to take prednisone for a week a few months back and she is 54 lbs and needs to loose a few pounds. From my research, she should be around 44 lbs. We have reduced her food intake by half 2x daily. Does anyone know what’s in the “Vegas” stew??? I also will try green beans but need ideas for healthy snacks. Thanks everyone.

Miss Iggy is a pretty girl. Prednisone will make one thirsty and increase in appetite. If she was eating three times a day, please stay there but cut back on the amount of each serving which is what we did for Jewel. Please peruse the forum because there are conversations about weight. The ideal weight for bullies varies and if she has a curved in figure behind her rib cage I would say ok. But if Miss Iggy is a big butterball, then I would cut back on her intake of food.

The Vegas stew recipe is on the site somewhere… I’ll see if I can find it. But, the green beans being substituted for some kibble usually works fine
