Well, we started Matildas raw feeding this evening. She didn't know what to think of it at first. But I think she actually enjoyed it. I thought i would share her first feeding with ya'll.

Mommy helping.

Hey, I think I can do it!!

Happy and sleepy puppy!!

She ate the majority of the leg quarter.

looks like she enjoyed the chicken bless her,im sure she will do fine on raw and remember patience lol, karen

Aww, pretty Matilda with a not so pretty chicken. lol.

Don't worry, she'll master the chicken in no time then she's going to start begging you more more. So glad the first meal went well.

Hope it goes well, enjoyed the pics, she is a cutie.

Thanks everyone!!! I have not seen that look of complete satisfaction and sleepiness in a long time. Will keep you updated as time goes by.

oh good for you with the raw feeding. i dont have the guts time nor will bf do it or i might try it. i give you kudos for doing it. let us know how it goes

I would love to do it, but I would purchase from a raw food company. Bella's would need to have either enzymes or raw pancreas added.

I hear so many talk about raw chicken pieces, doesn't that make any one nervous?

Bella'sMom Chicken made me nervious at first, but I read in one of the raw forums that chicken is good, the bones are good as long as they are not cooked, and saminella poisoning(sp?) doesn't happen because the enzymes in a dogs stomach is stronger than ours.

annie has left chicken ,buried it and dug it up 2 weeks later!!!,no cannon butt, sickness just a look of satisfaction and a long sleep after lol, there was a thread about rancid meat on the raw forum i go on and they all agree that even the smelliest of meat is ok for a dog lol,its not time consuming to raw feed it just takes a bit of planning,i get all i need on a friday, portion it up ,bag it and freeze it,dogs can also eat part frozen meat and even a full frozen chicken back, its like an ice lolly he he ,karen

Yeah, I was considering blogging about it. Matilda is up to 2 chicken leg quarters a day!!!
