Jewel Is Having Surgery Today

Yes here we go again. Jewel was jumping after a ball and landed on her L leg incorrectly and tore her ACL confirmed yesterday. I did post in Corine Pesantes Thread where Penny is having knee surgery today as well instead of me writing the same thing.

So hugs, prayers, best wishes, and positive vibes are needed for Penny and Jewel today.

Good Ladies!! - Penny and Jewel - YOU GOT THIS!!

I dropped Jewel off at the Vet's this morning at 0730. Annie said Jewel would probably be operated on mid morning. I re-advised her that Jewel has Empty Stomach Syndrome and since Jewel has not eaten, her belly is just gurgling away (i.e. hyperactive tummy sounds). So much so you would think they were talking to you (i.e. we're poor) and that was the one I heard and after this operation that is just where I will be. Annie said there will be pre-op meds with an antiemetic which is what Dr. P said yesterday.
