well one of my bf friends was coming over one day n thought i was going to put my dogs up while he was here. i was like hell no this is their house he can deal or not come over. my dogs are my children since i dont have any and wont be having any. :D

What an interesting article! I definitely feel I have a multi-species family. Matilda brightens my life just as any other member of family (and in a lot of ways, more so). If you're going to say "it's just a dog", why don't we also say, "it's just a child?" I mean, can't you just make a new one?
