I think it's fine provided you take all the meat/fat off. It's raw, and unless you have her on a raw diet, I probably wouldn't let her eat too much of it since kibble and raw digest differently.

OK thanks no he's not on a raw diet so I will keep an eye out thanks again

WOW --- no that is a bone!!! Agree with Blue's mom on giving/letting him have it... good advice

RiiSi. I'm not sure but maybe the weight bearing bones of large animals are too hard to feed. That's a femur head, the largest of all long bones.

That head of the bone is actually the softest part, the bone between the joints is hard. It's mainly cartilage and if he can get anything of it it's only good for his joints. I also wouldn't worry about giving it with kibble, he can knaw so little out of it that it will do no harm. Of course everthing new and out of the ordinary can upset his stomach. Only downside is that cause there is so much soft tissue in it it will start to smell after a few days...

Well they have had a good go at it my staffie help the pup out lol thanks for advice people

Just watch out that the bigger dog don't get anything of the bone that the pup can swallow.

OK thanks nate
