So how many of you have taught your bully to skateboard? I am wanting to teach Jovi this summer but am looking for some tips. Also possibly a site or store you got the board. :D

No tips from me--I bought one but she'd rather chew on it than ride it.

We bought a board at Walmart and watched all the training tips on Youtube and he just got bored and decided it was just a big chew toy. He got really rough one day with it and slipped on it and limped for the next day so I forgot about it. My wife will sit on it now and ride and he will try like a nut job to try and push her off, it's pretty funny.

I taught my first bully, Debo, by starting real young, & I would push it on the carpet. Then one day I just sent him down a hill & said see ya later! The whole neighborhood came out & watched. He was so cool, he could sled too!

My eight month old bully, Louie, hates the skateboard though!?

Wasn't an option for us ad Banks had bad hips and a very bad back

If only I can get my bulldogs to fit on a skateboard... they'd be Airborne*!

* You've seen that 80's movie, right?

Tucker has ADD so he rides for about 3 minutes then he chews on it, then rides for a minute, then runs down the sidewalk!! It's a crazy mess!!

No we didn't but I wish I had until I read pdolphin27 that Buster hurt himself so maybe good that I didn't

No, but it would be pretty neat to try this.

darn. I thought it was more popular than it actually is then! haha I just figured all bullys wanted to skateboard! tehehee. And as far as your bully not fitting on the board they have these "old style" skateboards that are a lot thicker that you can buy for them to fit on it. Thats what Im going to get. But im scared it may be a lost investment.

I'm looking at my dog imagining how wide the skateboard will have to be to get her to fit in it... It won't be a skateboard... it'll be a buggy. lol.

I bought one at 'Play it again Sports' for Bubba when he was younger. He would put his front paws on it but didn't like it much when it rolled too fast. ( I bought one that curved up on both ends--would rec all flat one). Once he stepped on the curved part on the end and flipped up and hit him in the nose..game over! Lol
