How do you add a photo to a sig?

Aha, the mystery is unraveling! Yep same prob as me JakeIsGreat but I don't get an error. Hmmm. Weird!!!!!

Post the pics you want here and any of the moderation team can edit your profile in the control panel. Or myself of course :)

I'm having the same issue!! Ur not alone!! I spent hours trying to figure it out and made a Photobucket thing too and it still won't show my pic when I try preview it!! Ugh...

Yup, there seems to be an issue with the sig pics right now.

Trying to use a pic on photobucket, I get this error:

vBulletin Message
Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Trying to use that same pic from my computer, it shows in the signature settings preview, but does not show in posted messages.

The pic is 249x150 and only 24.8kb in size.

VoicesInMyHead can you post the pic you want as a sig here and I will see if I can load it in through your control panel...not promising though! I havnt done it before

Ok @DinoRoyale @VoicesInMyHead @DiXiE and Becky I used you as my Guineapig :)

Firstly your sig pic needs to be no bigger than a measurement of 500x150 pixels and not bigger than 64KB

That sorted upload your chosen image using option 1 or 2.

Now the bit that had us all confused..that image needs to be in the Edit Sig box :)
So when your sitting comfortably....
1) goto Edit Signature.
2) there are 3 sections Preview, Edit Sig and Sig picture.
3) Right mouse click the image in the Sig Picture box at the bottom and copy Image Location
5) Now go into the Edit Sig box. In all the tabs at the top there is a "image tab" like a picture window.
6) click that window and a box will open.
7) paste your link in there and click OK.
8) PRESTO pic now in the Edit Sig box
9) Add your text and don't forget to Save sig

Hope this helps xx

Aha, thanks Lucy for the info! I see what is going on. It is telling me BB image code is not allowed. Thats the error I get when I save using the process you described. Still working on it!

Post the pic you are trying to use and I'll see what I can do with it.
