I have a 2yo who's had this issue since puppy. He likes to regurgitate his food from time to time. We tried slow feeders, raised bowls, smaller portions, switched food, etc. The vet said they saw nothing after many tests. So I am not sure what else to do. It's not a huge concern. Sorry if this is gross. The vet said, "Let him eat it back up right away," which he does. But I'd rather it doesn't happen for the sake of my mop and rug LOL! So if you have any other ideas, I would love it :giggle:

As long as Tipsy is well, it wouldn't be a concern for me. Some breeders let the Dam regurgitate the food for the pups, as they do in the wild. When I got Jeffo from rescue, they told me he did this, although he was being fed kibble and a topper, as soon as I fed Raw he has never done it in over 6yrs. Also when this happens, the food could be to dry or chunky, that could be a reason for Tipsy bringing it back, and then eating it with no problems.

Try giving a ‘Pepcid’. (Antacid) in the morning before meals.

My frenchie did this and the antacid did help

Does it only happen while/shortly after eating, or does it happen all day long?

mostly after eating, but once in a while during his sleep he gets up and does it. I think the middle of the night is acid reflux.
