I got an invite to my cousin's daughter's confirmation (in the Catholic faith), for Mother's Day and I'm a bit clueless on what to give her. She's 16 years old. Aside from money or a gift card, any other ideas you can enlighten me with?

I was thinking of giving her a gift certificate to be Tate and Finn's babysitter for a whole week but then I thought I'd miss them way too much! ;)

A gift cert. is probably the best idea and would be the most useful to a 16 year old.

All honesty, the standard gift for Confirmation is $$$$

You could even do something like a visa/amex gift card that way she can use it wherever she wants

yeah, i had a feeling it is! You sound like you're talking from experience, Christine . However, I'm going to cut down the $$$$ to perhaps $$!
that makes my life much easier...no need to go shopping for something then!

Gues the last name gave it away, huh?? Sorry on the $$, I got carried away :giggle:

Money or a gift certificate is always welcome, but a gold chain and cross is also a nice gift.

Maybe a pretty rosary with a card (and just a little cash in a card if you want to lol)

I was thinking some kind of jewellery earrings or something but I guess the gift card is the best option then they get what they like not what we like.

when my sisters kids were that age it was money or gift card as i never knew what they liked and didnt like.
