Hello from Sunny SoCal!

Just wanted to say hello, and to thank the Mods/Admins for this great site. My husband and I just recently rescued a 4 year old female EBD. The previous owners named her Cali, so we kept it that... for now... lol. We are actually going to call her Calliope, in keeping with her original name, but the nickname "Calorie" has kinda stuck too! So far it has been an interesting week (!) with her. We are learning to play, not only with each other, but with the two other dogs we have (Chihuahua-mix). The cats and chickens... well, that's another story.

We are figuring her body out... wrinkles, toes, rough nose. Seems like we find some new wrinkle each day. She's a good girl, stubborn (NO! ), but on the right track... Thanks to this site, I am realizing that some of the things she does are inherent bully qualities, so that takes some questioning off the board. Now comes the lesson in patience for all of us... haha
