Gio is in surgery!

I dropped Gio off at the vet about an hour ago for his tail amputation ! I'm a nervous wreck!!! He is the only surgery today so the vet said Gio will probably be out of surgery before noon. I am gripping to my cell phone waiting for the call that he is awake and doing amazing!! Such a nervous mama right now!!

Thank you everyone for the positive thoughts! The vet just called to say they finished surgery a half hour ago and wanted to make sure that he was up and fine before they called, and he is! He is still wearing his pain patch so I am able to pick him up at 2! I can't wait to see him and give him a big kiss! I'll post pics of his new tail... or should I say lack thereof!
