Frank is home! - Recovery updates

Frank looks happy to be home and perched on his bed!!!! I'm using coconut oil for Bocephus' shaved area from surgery - it's on his front leg so he licks a lot of it off but it seems to be helping

Frank is continuing to do well at home. He is doing much better at his "steaming" treatments and they seem to help him cough up stuff. I have been putting coconut oil on his shaved patches and they feel much less dry. Hopefully his hair will start growing in soon. He breathes much quieter too and I will wake up next to him and not hear him breathing, panic, and have to feel his sides! He definitely seems to breathe better and can get more air through his nose now. I am taking him in Thursday to get sutures removed.

I just can't tell you how happy I am to have our Frank back home with us!

Frank is doing great! He went in Thursday to have sutures out and the surgical vet that did his palate was very happy about how good he looks. Everyone at the vet's office just fawned over him when he went. My husband said Frank didn't even look his way as he pranced towards all the vet techs in the office. Then he didn't want to leave after he was done because he was getting so much attention from the office!
I am taking him in Thursday for a check up xray. He is still on his four antibiotics/anti fungal medicines and I think that they might be upsetting his tummy a bit now that he isn't taking the medicine for his GI tract, so I might try yogurt to help his gut flora.

Here he is relaxing in his bed with his favorite toys!

Just wanted to check in and see if Frank is still doing well.  I hope he is getting better and better every day!

Aww that is wonderful news!!! Frank is so handsome! And that's so great that after all he went through, he isn't scared to go to the vet. What a sweet sweet boy!! Very happy that he is doing so great!
